Odisha registered a seven-wicket win over minnows Nagaland in their fifth Group-B match of the Senior Women One-Day Trophy Cricket Tournament at Narendra Modi Stadium Ground A in Ahmedabad today. This was the third win for Odisha, who jumped from fifth to third position in the group table having 12 points in their kitty.

Electing to bat, Nagaland folded up for a paltry 73, which was comfortably overhauled by Odisha, losing three wickets in the process. Odisha bowler D Janaki Reddy was awarded as the player of the match for picking up three wickets for seven runs.

International Madhuri Meheta was another notable Odisha performer, scoring 45 runs. Odisha will next meet Mumbai at Gujarat College Cricket Ground in Ahmedabad on December 14.
