Odisha Archery Association (OAA) today announced an 18-member State squad for the Senior National Archery Championship, which is set to take place at Gopal Maidan in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand from 15 to 20 December 2024. The squad features 12 men and six women archers.

Odisha squad will be accompanied by coaches Rajesh Hasdak, Kapil Kumar Verma and Mantu Swain. Top archers of this National championship will the selected for the National Games to be held in Uttarakhand next year.

Keeping this in mind, OAA organised a coaching camp at the KIIT-KISS Archery Stadium in Bhubaneswar from 23 November to 13 December 2024 with the support of State Sports & Youth Services Department and Abhinav Bindra Targeting Performance (ABTP).

ODISHA SENIOR ARCHERY SQUAD:

Indian Round: Men: Rashmi Rajan Naik (Sambalpur), Trinath Munda (Keonjhar), Sraban Kumar Mandangi, Sanjay Majhi (both KISS). Women: Jaylin Kerketta (Sambalpur), Kausalya Singh (KISS).

Recurve Round: Men: Arjun Khara (Koraput), Bulu Mallick, Somnath Hemram (both KISS), Krishna Munda (SAI-SAG, Sundargarh). Women: Mamita Oram (SAI-SAG, Sundargarh), Manaswari Hasdak (KISS).

Compound Round: Men: Dibya Ranjan Munda, Keshaba Banara, Sagar Raita, Sanjay Ho (all KISS). Women: Priti Oram, Chandamai Munda (both KISS).
