Sambalpur District Archery Association reigned supreme, winning three out of the four gold medals and the best archer trophies in the 1st Odisha State U-10 Archery Championship, which was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack on 22 December 2024. The remaining one gold medal went to Cuttack District Archery.
Sambalpur twins, Arnab Kumar Dehury and Anwesha Dehury bagged the Narasingha Pratihari Trophy and Bidulata Pratihari Trophy as the best archer in boys and girls groups respectively.
A total of 33 boys and girls from eight district units participated in the one-day championship, which was organised by Cuttack District Archery Association (CDAA), under the auspices of Odisha Archery Association (OAA).
Barrister Ranjit Mohanty Foundation chairman Biswajit Mohanty inaugurated the championship, while Makam College Commerce Department head Kishore Chandra Dash handed over the prizes in the closing ceremony.
CDAA president Parikshit Maharana, working president Khitish Chandra Patra, vice-president Deepak Kumar Choudhury and secretary Sampurnananda Das were present on the occasion.

Boys: 1. Krishna Nag (Sambalpur DAA), 2. Nihit Kumar Mohanta (Mayurbhanj DAA), 3. Devansh Krishna Rout (Cuttack DAA).
Girls: 1. Anwesha Dehury (Sambalpur DAA), 2. Anaya Ekka (Sundargarh DAA), 3. Divyanshi Naik (Sundargarh DAA).
RECURVE ROUND:
Boys: 1. Arnab Kumar Dehury (Sambalpur DAA), 2. Gaurav Swain (Cuttack DAA), 3. Jagannath Murmu (Mayurbhanj DAA).
Girls: 1. Aaruhi Das (Cuttack DAA), 2. Abhilipsha Swain (Cuttack DAA), 3. Sudikshaa Swain (KISS, Bhubaneswar).
