  Swasti, Rejiya, Dinesh picked for Asian Track Cycling Championship

Odisha ace Swasti Singh has been selected to represent India at the Asian Track Cycling Championship, scheduled to be held at the National Velodrome in Nilai, Malaysia from 21 to 27 February 2025. Two more Odisha cyclists _ Khoirom Rejiya Devi and Dinesh Kumar _ have also been included in the Indian squad for the upcoming continental championship.

Swasti is scheduled to compete in four events _ 4km individual pursuit, 4km team pursuit, elimination race and madison race. Rejiya would participate in 4km team pursuit and scratch race. Events of Dinesh are yet to be known.

Rourkela cyclist Swasti has been in top form in recent times, winning 11 medals, including three gold in National Championships and National Games since November 2024. She also has the reputation of bagging four international medals so far, including one gold. Swasti secured her last international medal with a bronze at the 41st Senior Asian Track Cycling Championship in Delhi, three years back.

Rejiya Devi belongs to Manipur, but represents Odisha in National championships and National Games. Dinesh is a native of Rourkela, but represents Services in National championships and National Games.
