A 32-member Odisha squad has, so far, mustered a total of five medals, which also feature two silver and one bronze. Woman sprinter Janaki Oram won the first medal for Odisha with a bronze in womens 100m sprint (T-12 category), clocking 16.08 seconds yesterday. This was the first National medal for Janaki who belongs to Mayurbhanj district and studies at Rama Devi Womens University, Bhubaneswar.

Versatile athletes Pankaj Bhue and Kamala Kanta Nayak contributed one silver medal each to the Odisha tally today. Also a blind cricket international, Bhue secured the silver in mens T-13 long jump with a leap of 5.93 metres. Nayak, who is also a National medalist in para swimming, captured the silver in mens F-53 javelin throw with an effort of 16.22 metres.
