Odisha Para Sports Association (PSAO) today announced a 24-member Odisha contingent for the 2nd Khelo India Para Games 2025, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from March 20 to 27. The Odisha contingent will compete across six disciplines: para archery, para athletics, para badminton, para powerlifting, para shooting and para table tennis.
The contingent will be accompanied by 11 coaches, escorts, guide runners and physio. A send-off event was organized today, attended by Dipankar Mohapatra, Director of Sports, Sports and Youth Services Department, Government of Odisha and Sunil Pradhan, Secretary, PSAO.
The 2nd Khelo India Para Games (KIPG) will witness participation of approximately 1,200 athletes, representing 36 States and Union Territories. Competitions will take place at three venues in Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Indira Gandhi Stadium and Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range.
