  U-19 Inter-District Cricket: Swostik, Varun, Aman dazzle

Swostik Samal bagged seven wickets for 17 runs to propel Bhubaneswar-B to a 74-run win against Gajapati in their preliminary league match of the OCA U-19 Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament (One-Day Format) at Ravenshaw University Ground in Cuttack today.

Among other outstanding performers of the day, Varun Nag and Aman Dash scored a century each for Sambalpur-A and Kendrapara respectively, while Pritam K Samal captured five wickets for Kandhamal.

Match 28 (Ravenshaw Ground, Cuttack): Bhubaneswar-B 151/10 in 40.5 overs (Anurag Samantaray 60; James Lima 4/18) beat Gajapati 77/10 in 21.5 overs (Swostik Ghosal 7/17) by 74 runs. PoM: Swostik Ghosal.
 

Match 29 (Bidanasi Ground, Cuttack): Paradip 159/10 in 32.2 overs (Biswajit Sahoo 23; Ayush K Pradhan 3/23) lost to Nayagarh 162/7 in 18.3 overs (Sahil Satyabrat Naik 42; Satya R Swain 2/33) by 3 wickets. PoM: Ayush K Pradhan.

Match 30 (Railway Stadium, Jatni): Sambalpur-A 196/8 in 37 overs (Varun Nag 102*; Subham Sahu 3/27) beat Kalahandi 163/10 in 36.2 overs (Naresh Bag 53; Manit M Bhoi 4/36) by 33 runs. PoM: Varun Nag.
