*     Athletics Federation of India chose him as the leader of Indian squad for the IAAF World Championships, set to be held in London from August 4 to 13 2017.
*     Played crucial role in the unprecedented success of the 22nd Asian Athletics Championships, which was hosted by Govt of Odisha at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar from July 5-9, 2017.
*     Functioning as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Department of Sports & Youth Services, Govt of Odisha since 16th September, 2016.
*     Functioned as one of the directors of Odisha Sports Development & Promotion Company (OSDPC) from 16 November 2013.
*     OSDPC promoted the Bhubaneswar-based field hockey team, Kalinga Lancers as one of the franchisees of Hockey India League.
