*     She was the only lady civilian of an eight-member expedition team that the Odisha government had sent to Bali.
*     The Sail Boat INSV-SAMUDRA started her journey from Paradeep on 10th November, 1992 and reached Bali Island on 30 January, 1993.
*     Led by Commander RS Gill, the team had six other crew members from Indian Navy.
