* Played league cricket in England for five seasons.
* Playing 20 matches for Liverpool Cricket Club in England in 2006, Das emerged top scorer in the Littlewoods First Division League, accumulating 1,223 runs, including two centuries and eight fifties. His club finished fourth in the league, narrowly missing promotion to the Premier Division.
* He earlier represented Newton Le Willows.
* Hit his maiden triple hundred in 2006-07, the first since the 2000-01 Ranji season, against Jammu & Kashmir. The Orissa Cricket Association declared a cash prize of Rs 30,000 for the achievement.
* Passed Level-I coaching course at Kolkata in 2011.
* Took No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Orissa Cricket Association to play Ranji Trophy matches for Vidarbha for the season 2011-12.
EXPERIENCE/ACHIEVEMENTS AS COACH & SELECTOR:
* On 7 January 2023, the BCCI appointed him as a member of the Senior Mens National Selection Committee.
* Appointed as the batting coach of the India women cricket team for a tour of England for a one-off Test, 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is to be played from 27 June to 15 July, 2021.
* Worked with the India Women A team.
* He was associated with the National Cricket Academy, where he worked with his former teammate Rahul Dravid for 4-5 years.
