* Bagged a double, winning men`s 100m and 200m gold medals at the 67th Odisha State Athletics Meet, held at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack from 28-30 December, 2019.
* Bagged a double by winning both the men’s 100m and 200m titles in the 64th Odisha State Athletics Championship, held at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack from April 2 to 4, 2017. He also equalled meet record in 100m and created new meet record in 200m with timings of 10.4s and 21.4s respectively.
* Bagged a double by winning both the men’s 100m and 200m sprint titles in the 63rd Odisha State Athletics Meet, held at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack from Dec 28 to 30, 2015. He also set a new meet record in 100m sprint.
* Emerged overall champion in the State School Athletic Meet held at Balasore from Dec 17 to 19, 2005. Won three titles in under-14 age category: 100m sprint (11.40s, NMR), 200m sprint (24.73s) and long jump (5.68m).

* Won three Gold medals (boys-18 100m run, 200m run and medley relay) in the 21st East Zone Athletics Championship held at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar from Aug 16 to 18, 2009.
* Won the 100m (11.54s) and 200m (23.63s) sprint titles and finished second in long jump (5.78m) events of the CBSE Cluster-I and II Meet at Bokaro in 2006.
* Emerged overall champion in the CBSE Cluster I and II Athletic Meet held at Gumla, Jharkhand from Oct 27 to 29, 2005. He stood first in under-14 age group`s 100m sprint (12.12 secs) and second in long jump (5.35m).

* Won the mens 4x100m relay Gold medal in the 63rd National Inter State Senior Athletics Championship at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula, Haryana on 28 June 2024.
* Won the Silver medal in men 4x100m relay event of the 37th National Games at the Athletics Stadium in Bambolim, Goa on 31 October 2023.
* Won the Silver medal in men 4x100m relay event of the 62nd National Open Athletics Championships at Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on 15 October 2023.
* He was part of a mens 4x100m relay team from different states that won the title at the Indian Grand Prix-5 in Chandigarh on 11 September 2023.

* Erased the 100m national record in the semifinals of the 20th Federation Cup National Senior Athletics Championship, clocking 10.26 seconds, but finished fourth eventually after suffering left hamstring pull in the final at J N Stadium in New Delhi on April 28, 2016.
* Won the men 100m Gold medal with new National record, clocking 10.09 secs in Indian Grand Prix-I at J N Stadium in New Delhi on April 24, 2016. He bettered the previous National record of 10.30 secs, which had been set by Abdul N Qureshi in New Delhi in the year 2010.
* Won one Silver medal in men`s 100m sprint (10.58s) event of the 55th National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championship, held at J N Stadium in Chennai from July 10 to 13, 2015.

* He was a member of the Indian 4x100m men’s relay team won the Gold medal with a timing of 39.90 secs in the Kazakhstan National Athletics Championships at Almaty on July 4, 2016.
* He was a member of the Indian men team that won the Gold medal in 4x100m relay event of the 26th G Kosanov Memorial International Athletics Meet at Almaty in Kazakhstan on June 25, 2016.

* Received the Sportslogon Young Emerging Player of the Year Award and Rs 25,000 in Bhubaneswar on July 14, 2014.
* In 2009 he was felicitated by Orissa School Sports Association for his outstanding success in the National School Games at Pune.

* He was felicitated with a cheque worth Rs 3 lakh by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on the occasion of inauguration of new facilities of Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on July 1, 2017.
* On Dec 31, 2013, received a financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited to be able to undergo a five-month-long advance training stint at the Racers Track Club in Jamaica, under the guidance of Glen Mills, the coach of Olympic champion Usain Bolt from January 15, 2014.
* By the end of year 2013, Amiya was ranked India No 1 and Asia No 7 in 200 meter sprint.
* Odisha Olympic Association on Sept 10, 2013 announced a cash award of Rs 50,000 for Amiya for winning the 200m gold in the Open Nationals at Ranchi.
* Suffered from chickenpox for 20 days in April, 2009.
* He was ranked India No 1 in men`s 200 metre sprint in 2009.
