STATE:

*     Won the title in rapid and finished runner-up in blitz categories of the Odisha State Rapid and Blitz Championship held at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack from July 26 to 28, 2013.
*     Boys` runner-up in the State Junior (u-19) Championship at Cuttack on August 9, 2009.
*     Runner-up in the 49rd Senior State Championship at Rourkela (July 23 to 28, 2009).
*     Bagged a double by winning both the titles in the 1st State Rapid and Blitz Championship at Bhubaneswar on May 24, 2009.
*     Won his first career title at the Cuttack District Open Chess Championship in 1997.

NATIONAL:
*     He was part of the KIIT University that lifted the trophy in the 18th National Cities Team Chess Championship, held at Kalarabanka village in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha from August 6 to 9, 2017.
*     Won the title in blitz category and finished runner-up in rapid category of the 7th KIIT All-India Open Chess Tournament at KIIT University campus in Bhubaneswar on Oct 5, 2014.
*     Won the title and a cash prize of Rs 50,000 in the 2000 & above rating category of the 2nd Keshabananda Das Memorial All-India Twin Chess Tournament held at Hotel Seetal in Bhubaneswar from August 18 to 22, 2013.
*     Finished runner-up in the open category of he 20th National Under-17 Chess Championship at Chakradharpur, Jharkhand on Oct 14, 2009.
*     Emerged champion in the Fide Rated Tournament at Dumdum in Kolkata in April 2009.
*     Won the under-14 title in the Shri Babukaka Shirgoankar Memorial Tournament All-India Tournament at Sangli, Maharashtra (May 14 to 20, 2006).
*     Won the u-14 boys’ title in the Telegraph School Tournament at Kolkata in August 2002.
*     Made National debut with the U-7 Nationals boys meet at Aurangabad (December 26 to January 3).

INTERNATIONAL:
*     Won the title and secured his third GM norm at Polonia Wroclaw Master Cup GM Tournament, held in Wroclaw, Poland from 28 April-5 May, 2019.
*     Won a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh by finishing third in the Elite category of the 6th KIIT International Chess Festival, organized by All Odisha Chess Association at KIIT International School in Bhubaneswar from May 24 to 31, 2014. He also secured his first GM norm during the Festival.
*     Gained 14.5 Fide rating points by finishing third in the 2nd Gurgaon International Grandmaster Chess Tournament held at Gurgaon, Delhi from Jan 1 to 8, 2014. He beat Russia GM Alexander Evdokimov in the ninth round and held Georgia GM Sanikidze Tornike in the 10th and last round to finish with eight points, the same as the top two finishers.
*     Won a silver medal in under-20 boys category of the Commonwealth Chess Championships at Chennai on Dec 1, 2012.
*     Won the blitz title in the Asian Junior Chess Championship at Tashkent in Uzbekistan on June 7, 2012.
*     Secured his third and final IM norm in the Vizag GM International Open Tournament at Vishakhapatnam on Nov 29, 2011.
*     Achieved a creditable double by finishing third and securing his second IM norm in the Mayor`s Cup International Chess Tournament, held at Mumbai from September 16 to 24, 2011.
*     Helped India win the team gold medal in the World Youth (u-16) Olympiad at Singapore on August 11, 2007. He also claimed an individual bronze on the fifth board, scoring 3.5 pts.
*     Finished 31st in under-18 open category of the World Youth Chess Championship at Halkidiki in Greece on October 30, 2010.
*     Secured an International Master norm at the Chennai Open in January, 2010.
*     Made international debut in December 2005 at the Asian Youth (u-14 boys) Championship and finished 13th with 5.5 pts.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS AS COACH:
*     He was the Assistant Coach of the Indian Women Chess Team that won the Silver medal at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China in October 2023.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*     Bagged the OSJA Sportsperson of Year 2020 Award and a cheque of Rs 25.000 at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack on 21 March, 2021.
*     Became the second Grand Master of Odisha and 62nd of India after securing his 3rd and final norm at Polonia Wroclaw Master Cup GM Tournamentin Wroclaw in Poland on 5 May, 2019.
*     On June 18, 2014, Odisha Government sanctioned in his favour monetary incentive of Rs 2,50,000 for winning gold medal in World Youth U-16 Olympiad at Singapore in 2007.
