* Played State, Inter-State and Senior National championship from 1990 to 1994.
EXPERIENCE AS COACH:
* Functioned as Deputy Chief Coach at the Odisha-SAI Regional Badminton Academy in 2017.
* In 2017, he was sponsored by the State government to undergo training for 20 days at Birmingham University, UK in Sports Science program.
* In 2013, he was sponsored by the State government to do an intermediate level certificate course at Gopichand Academy.
* Took classes as a faculty of SAI, Bangalore in 2012.
* Imparted coaching to Senior elite group in a 42-day camp at Gopichand Academy in 2006.
* In 2004, imparted coaching to Indian Junior team in a month-long camp at SAI, Bangalore and then led the team as coach for Dutch and German European Circuit.
* Selected by BAI to coach Indian Junior players from 1999 to 2009.

* Became a qualified National referee in 2014.
* Qualified as Grade-I umpire in 2000.

* Claims to have officiated more than 50 National and 7 International tournaments as Umpire and Referee till date.
