* Peformed as a Technical Official at the 3rd SAF Games Swimming Competition at Kolkata in 1987.
* Peformed as a Technical Official in swimming for the Delhi Asian Games 1982.
* Successfully qualified as the first NIS (Patiala) swimming coach of Odisha in 1965-66.
* Inspired lots of youngsters of Sambalpur and Odisha to take up swimming and trained them on the river Mahanadi.
* Played instrumental role, along with the then Cabinet Minister Dr Jhasketan Sahu and Sambalpur Municipal Corporation Chairman Sangram Sahani in setting up first national level swimming pool of Odisha in Sambalpur.
* Was the undisputed swimming champion of Odisha for 11 years (1958 to 1968).
