DESCRIPTION:
*     This tournament was started in the year 1991 by renowned industrialist and hotelier Kumar Halder in the memory of his father Makhanlal Halder.
*     The championship offers a total cash prize of Rs 28,500, including Rs 5,000 for the champion.
*     The top 20 finishers will be given cash prizes.
*     Manas Parida was the champion last year.
*     Free hotel accommodation will be provided to all out-station players on prior intimation.
*     Eentry fees is Rs 200 for senior players and Rs 100 for school children.
*     Last date for submission of entry is June 18.
