DESCRIPTION:
*     Around 2,000 students from 42 universities and 16 states will vie for honours in chess (men, women), kabaddi (women), table tennis (men, women), tennis (men) and volleyball (men, women).
*     The five-day tournament will serve as the basis for the selection of four universities in each discipline for participation in the All-India Inter-University Tournament to be conducted latter this year.
