DESCRIPTION:
* India has announced a 17-strong, including nine men and eight women for this championship.
* Odisha women sprinters Srabani Nanda and Dutee Chand have been included in the squad.
* Indian team will be participating in a total of 12 events at the Aspire Academy Sports complex.
* India won just one gold medal from four participants in the previous edition which was held in Hangzhou, China.

WOMEN: Srabani Nanda, Dutee Chand (both 60m sprint); Suganda Kumari (1500m); Gayathri (60m hurdles); Swapna Burman (high jump); Mayookha Johny, MA Prajusha (long jump); Manpreet Kaur Jr (Shot put).
