DESCRIPTION:
*     As many as 16 teams, including two from Odisha would participate in this championship.
*     Teams have been divided into four pools and after completion of pool league matches, the top team from each pool would advance to the semifinals.
*     Defending champions Hockey Odisha have been placed in Pool A along with Manipur Hockey, Hockey Karnataka and Bengal Hockey Association.
*     Kunjan Topno will lead an 18-member Hockey Odisha team with Kalu Charan Choudhury and Stanley Victor Minz as coach and manager respectively.
*     Hockey Gangpur-Odisha have been placed in Pool B alsong with Uttar Pradesh Hockey, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Hockey Punjab.
