DESCRIPTION:
*     Yoddha Fighting Championship (YFC), an Indian name of Mixed Martial Art (MMA), is a full-contact combat sport that allows both striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using techniques from other combat sports and martial arts.
*     MMA made a successful debut in Odisaha with the staging of the 4th edition of YFC at Utkal Karate School, Bhubaneswar on July 4 and 5, 2015.
*     Four professional bouts, featuring fighters from Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and India, will be the special attraction of the 8th edition of YFC.
*     Fights will take place in a 10-corner iron cage with a diametre of 24 feet, the biggest in India.
*     But spectators have to buy tickets to watch the fights in the ensuing edition.
*     There will be two categories of tickets, priced at Rs 400 and Rs 200.
*     As many as 400 paid seats will be available each day and tickets will be sold from July 26.
*     The fights will be shown live in local TV channels.
