DESCRIPTION:
*     This will be the 17th edition of the IAAF World Athletics Championships.
*     The championship will take place at renovated multi-purpose Khalifa International Stadium.
*     Odisha sprinter Dutee Chand will representing India in 100m event.

INDIAN SQUAD:
Men Individual Events: MP Jabir (400m Hurdles), Jinson Johnson (1500m), Avinash Sable (3000m Steeplechase), KT Irfan and Devender Singh (both 20kg Race Walk), Gopi Thonakal (Marathon), Sreeshankar Murali (Long Jump), Tajinder Pal Singh Toor (Shot Put), Shivpal Singh (Javelin).
Women Individual Events: Dutee Chand (100m), Archana Suseentran (200m), Anjali Devi (400m), PU Chitra (1500m), Annu Rani (Javelin).
Rela Races: Men 4x400m Relay, Women 4x400m Relay, Mixed 4x400m Relay.
