DESCRIPTION:
* This is the first time that Senior National Volleyball Championship will be held in Odisha.
* So far, Odisha has hosted volleyball National of any category twice and both at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar.
* Junior National was held in 2009 and Sub-Junior National in 2019.
* As many as 30 men and 27 women teams have entered the fray.
* The championship will be conducted on league-cum-knockout format.
* Teams have been placed in six groups in both men and women categories.
* Odisha men have been placed in Group E with Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Pondicherry, Tripura and Jammu & Kashmir.
* Odisha women will compete in Group E with Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Pondicherry.
* After conclusion of group league, top three finishers from Group A and B will advance to quarterfinals.
* Other two quarterfinal berths will be filled up after play-off second round maches, featuring fourth-placed teams from Group A and B and top-placed teams from Group C, D, E and F.
