DESCRIPTION:
* Meant for U-15 and U-17 boys and girls, this championship will be held in Odisha for the first time.
* Competiton will be held in boys singles, girls singles, boys doubles, girls doubles and mixed doubles in both age groups.
* The championship carries a total prize fund of Rs 10 lakh.
* Players reaching quarterfinals will be eligible for prize money.
* Title winners in U-17 singles will receive Rs 44,000 each, while doubles and mixed doubles champions will be given Rs 46,000 each.
* In U-15 group, singles title winners will get Rs 42,000 each and doubles and mixed doubles champions Rs 44,000.
* Around 600 budding shuttlers from 33 states and Union Territories would vie for honours in this championship.
* The championship will take place at East Coast Railway Indoor Stadium, Mancheswar and Saheed Nagar Indoor Hall.
* A tentative budget of Rs 1 crore has been estimated for the hosting of the championship.
