*     This will be the 139th edition of the Grand Slam tournament and will take place at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park of Queens in New York City.
*     Novak Djokovic and Naomi Osaka are the men and women singles defending champions.
*     Two Indians _ Sumit Nagal and Prajnesh Gunneswaran _ have qualified to compete in mens singles event.
*     Nagal will meet Swiss legend Roger Federer and Gunneswaran will take on fifth seed Russian Daniil Medvedev in their first round matches.
