DESCRIPTION:
*     The 2021 US Open is the 141st edition of the tournament and the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the year.
*     Dominic Thiem and Naomi Osaka were the mens and womens singles defending champions.
*     However, Thiem withdrew from the 2021 tournament due to a wrist injury.
*     This is the first Major tournament since the 1997 Australian Open not to feature Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, or Venus Williams in the main singles draw.
