DESCRIPTION:
*     This will be the 11th edition of the Mens Hockey Asia Cup, which was first held in Karachi, Pakistan in 1982.
*     Four players from Odisha have been selected in the Indian team for the Asia Cup 2022.
*     They are: Birendra Lakra, Dipsan Tirkey, Nilam Sanjeep Xess and Abhisek Lakra.
*     A total of eight countries will battle it out for the title in the Asia Cup, which is a World Cup qualifier.
*     India has been placed in Pool A, along with Japan, Pakistan and hosts Indonesia.
*     Pool B has been formed with Malaysia, Korea, Oman and Bangladesh.

28-31 May: Classification matches
1 June: Bronze & Gold medal matches.
