DESCRIPTIION:
*     India will host this tournament for the first time.
*     Total 16 countries, including host India will be competing in this event.
*     They are: India, China, Japan, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Spain, France, Tanzania, Morocco and Nigeria.
*     The Official Draw for the tournament was held on 24 June.
*     Host India will play all of their three league matches at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
*     This is the seventh edition of the FIFA U-17 Women World Cup, which was first held in 2008.
*     The sixth edition of the tournament was held in Uruguay from 13 November to 1 December 2018.
*     Spain are the defending champions.
*     Following the conclusion of the group games on 18 October, top two teams from each group will progress to the quarterfinals.
*     Governemnt of India has announced to provide a financial assistance of Rs 10 crore to the AIFF towards field of play maintenance, stadium power, energy & cableing, stadia and training site branding etc.
