DESCRIPTION:
*     Odisha player Lasyamayee Mohanta has been selected in the 12-member Indian team for the Asian Womens U18 Championship.
*     Lotak Bindu Dash of Odisha has also been named in the Indian team as one of the two Assistant Coaches.
*     The Asian U18 Championship is a biennial international tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC).
*     The top four teams of the Asian Championship would qualify for the FIVB Volleyball Girls U19 World Championship 2023.
*     Teams have been split into two pools and after completion of pool league, top two teams from each pool would advance to the semifinals.
*     India have been placed in Pool-B along with Japan, China, Chinese Taipei, Kazakhstan and Philippines.
