HOSTS: Hockey Association of Odisha and Department of Sports & Youth Services (DSYS), Government of Odisha, under the aegis of Hockey India.

DESCRIPTION:
*     The newly built Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium, Rourkela is the venue of the championship.
*     A total of 29 teams are participating in this edition.
*     Teams will play league matches in eight groups and the top team from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.
*     Odisha have been slated in Group-D along with Manipur Hockey, Hockey Gujarat and Hockey Jammu & Kashmir.
*     Rosan Kujur is leading an 18-member team of Hockey Association of Odisha (HAO) with Anmol Ekka as vice-captain.
*     Last year Odisha had finished fourth in Tamil Nadu.
