DESCRIPTION:
*     IPL was first held in 2008.
*     The 16th edition will revert to the home and away format.
*     All teams will play seven home and as many away matches.
*     A total of 70 league stage matches will be played across 12 venues over the course of 52 days.
*     Gujarat Titans are defending champions.
*     The upcoming iteration of the league will have 18 double headers, with the day games starting at 3:30 PM IST and the evening games starting at 07:30 PM IST.
*     Playoffs and final will be played from May 23 to May 28 in Chennai and Ahmedabad.

VENUES: Narendra Modi Stadium (Ahmedabad), Inderjit Singh Bindra Stadium (Mohali), Ekana Cricket Stadium (Lucknow), Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (Hyderabad), M Chinnaswamy Stadium (Bengaluru), MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chennai), Arun Jaitley Stadium (Delhi), Eden Gardens (Kolkata), Sawai Mansingh Stadium (Jaipur), Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai), Assam Cricket Association Stadium (Guwahati) and Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium (Dharamsala).
