DESCRIPTION:
*     Kalinga Stadium Tennis Complex, Bhubaneswar is the venue of the championship.
*     India is hosting this event for the first time.
*     This is a Regional final event of South- South East and East Asia.
*     Players from 18 coutries would vie for honours in four events _ singles and doubles for both boys and girls.
*     Participating countries are: Hongkong, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and hosts India.
*     Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to respective winners
*     This is Category A tournament which offers full hospitality.
*     India would be represented by two boys (Shirfule Shivtej Balaprasad, Sarran Prakaash) and two girls (Harithashree Venkatesh, Mayaa Rajeshwaran Revathi).
*     The budget of the tournament has been estimated as Rs 1 crore.
*     International Tennis Federation (ITF) would bear 50 per cent of the expenses.
