*     FIVB Volleyball Mens U-21 championship was first staged in 1977 in Brazil.
*     Russia is the most successful nation in the history of the championshi with six titles and three runners-up.
*     Brazil is the second most successful with four titles and six runners-up.
*     Altogether 16 teams, including India, would vie for the title in the upcoming edition in Manama.
*     India would play Polland on July 7, Bulgaria on July 8 and Canada on July 9.
*     Md Raza from Odisha has been named in the 12-member Indian team.
*     The Indian U-21 team qualified for the World Championship after clinching silver medal in the 21st Asian Men U-20 Volleyball Championship, after a gap of 20 years, at Riffa, Bahrain in 2022.
