ORGANISED BY: Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports along with Association of Indian Universities, Indian Olympic Association and National Sports Federation.

DESCRIPTION:
*     The seven hosting State are: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Nagaland and Tripura.
*     A total of 20 disciplines (Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Fencing, Football, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Mallakhamb, Rugby, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling & Yogasana) in men and women category will be organized where approximately 4500 athletes will vie to attain podium finish.
*     Dr Gaganendu Dash, Director General Sports & Yoga, KIIT & KISS has been nominated as the Coordinator for Tennis (M&W).
