DESCRIPTION:
*     This is the 10 th season of ISL, which was first held in 2014.
*     Mumbai City are the defending premiers and Mohun Bagan Super Giants are defending champions.
*     A total of 12 club teams would compete in the ISL 2023-24.
*     The 12 teams included 11 from the previous season and the winner of the I-League 2022-23.
*     I-League 2022-23 winners are Punjab FC.
*     The 11 previous season teams are: Bengaluru FC, Chennaiyin FC, East Bengal FC, Goa FC, Hyderabad FC, Jamshedpur FC, Kerala Blasters FC, Mohun Bagan Super Giants, Mumbai City FC, NorthEast United FC and Odisha FC.
*     This will be the fifth ISL season for Odisha FC, who made their debut in 2019-20 season.
*     Last year, Odisha FC qualified for the playoffs for the first time and finished sixth in the table.
*     A club is allowed to have a maximum of six registered foreign players in their side and field a maximum of four can play in a match at a time.
*     Registered foreign players of Odisha FC are: Diego Mauricio (Brazil), Roy Krishna (Fiji), Ahmed Jahouh (Morocco), Mourtada Fall (Senegal), Carlos Delgado (Spain), Cy Goddard (Japan).
