DESCRIPTION:
*     Paris will become the second city, after London (who were the hosts in 1908, 1948 and 2012) to host the Summer Olympics three times.
*     Paris earlier hosted the Summer Olympics in 1900 and 1924.
*     Around 10,500 athletes are expected to vie for medals in 32 disciplines and 329 events.
*     Table tennis star Achanta Sharath Kamal would be the flag bearer of India at the opening ceremony.
*     Odisha hockey defender Amit Rohidas and javelin thrower Kishore Kumar Jena have qualified this Olympics.
