DESCRIPTION:
*     The biennial ICC Women T20 World Cup was first held in England in 2009.
*     Australia, having won the tournament a record six times (2010, 2012, 2014, 2018, 2020, 2023) are the most successful team, while England (2009), and West Indies (2016) have one title each.
*     In August 2024, ICC announced that the United Arab Emirates will host the Women T20 World Cup instead of Bangladesh although the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) continue to host the event.
*     Matches are scheduled to be played at Dubai and Sharjah.
*     The 23-match event will feature the top 10 women teams in the world, who will be divided into two groups of five each.
*     Group-A includes defending champion Australia, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka, while Group-B comprises Bangladesh, England, South Africa, West Indies and Scotland.
*     Each team will play four group matches, and the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.
