DESCRIPTION:
* Odisha Womens League (OWL), also known as the FAO Womens League, is the womens top division football league of Odisha.
* OWL was first held in 2011.
* East Coast Railway and Rising Students Club have won the most titles in league history, being crowned champions thrice each.
* Chand Club, Odisha Police, and SAI-STC have won it once each.
* OWL 2025 will be the 12th edition of the tournament.
* OWL 2025 will feature 11 teams, including defending champions Nita Football Academy, and a total of 55 matches.
* The 11 teams are: Odisha Police, Nita Football Academy, Rising Student Club, Odisha Government Press Club (all Cuttack); Sports Odisha, KIIT & KISS (Both Bhubaneswar); Tarini Football Academy, Tata Steel Foundation (both Keonjhar), Buxi Jagabandhu Club (Bargarh), Young Association Kuarmunda (Sundargarh), Manorama Club (Deogarh).
* The first phase, featuring 10 matches, will be held at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar from 8 to 13 January 2025.
* The tournament will resume from February 19, after a break for the National Games.
* The second phase, involving 45 matches, will conclude on 18 March 2025.
* Venue of the second phase will be announced later.
* The tournament will be played in a double-leg league format, and all matches will be live-streamed on FAO TV (official YouTube Channel of FAO).
