DESCRIPTION:
*     The championship will feature a total of seven rounds.
*     Odisha Chess Association for the Visually Challenged (OCAVC) has announced plans to field two teams.
*     The five-member Odisha main team will be represented by captain Subhendu Kumar Patra, Prachurya Kumar Pradhan, Nemai Das, Asit Kumar Mohanty and Etikrishna Bhanja.
*     Biranchi Narayan Sahu has been appointed as the manager of the main team.
*     Kalinga Knights, the second team from Odisha will be represented by Kunal Kumar Mrudanga, Subash Behera, Deepak Kumar Bhoi, Sudhir Kumar Naik and Meghna Sing.
*     Odisha has a strong record in the National team championship, having secured two board medals -- silver on Boards 1 and 2, and a bronze in the 2024 edition.
*     In 2025, Subhendu Kumar Patra won the gold medal on Board 1.
