DESCRIPTION:
*     The fifth edition of the AIRTEL Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the Inter-state domestic T20 competition, will commence on Sunday, 17 March 2013.
*     The tournament will be played in the league-cum-knockout format.
*     The intra-zonal leagues will be played from 17 March to 22.
*     East Zone (17 March 17–21) matches will be played at Tripura Institute of Technology (Polytechnic Ground), Narsingarh and Maharaja Bir Bikram Stadium, Agartala
*     The All-India knockout, featuring the top two teams from each zone, will be played at Ranchi from March 25 to 31.
*     The previous winners of the tournament ar: 2006-07 – Tamil Nadu, 2009-10 – Maharashtra , 2010-11 – Bengal, 2011-12 – Baroda.
*     Allrounder Biplab Samantaray will lead a 16-member Odisha team with Govind Poddar as his deputy.
*     Allrounder Priyatosh Paramanik has been included in the team as a new face.
*     The Odisha T-20 team will leave for Agartala by flight on March 15 and play their four matches against Tripura, Assam, Jharkhand and Bengal on March 17, 18, 20 and 21 respectively.
