DESCRIPTION:
*     Around 600 boys and girls from 30 states are expected to participate.
*     Almost all the players will be playing qualifying matches and around 400 among them will be seen in action in the main draw.
*     Host Odisha will field a 19-member squad, comprising seven girls and 12 boys.
*     Odisha will host the championship for the first time.
*     OSBA is hosting the championship without the support of any sponsor.
*     A budget of Rs 50 lakhs has been estimated for the smooth staging of the event.
*     Badminton Association of India has assured a special grant of Rs 15 lakhs.
*     OSBA expects some financial assistance from the state government.
*     The week-long championship carries a prize fund of Rs 5 lakhs.
*     Almost all the players will be playing qualifying matches and around 400 among them will be eligible to compete in the main draw.

U-13 boys singles: Priyal Goyal (Kalahandi), Roshan Singh (Bolangir).

U-13 girls singles: Jasmin Sahu (Bhadrak), Yashashree Samal, Swayam Suchi Mishra (both Bhubaneswar), Swetaparna Panda (Cuttack).
U-15 boys singles: M Dushmant (Sambalpur), Aman Kumar (Mayurbhanj), Rajat Pradhan (Angul), Sibasish Bishi (Kalahandi).
U-15 boys doubles: M Dushmant, Rajat Pradhan, Asish Kumar Sethi, Biswanath Hembram (both Bhubaneswar).
U-15 girls singles: Rutaparna Panda (Cuttack), Lisarani Parida, Punya Purnima (both Bhubaneswar), Jasmin Sahu.
