DESCRIPTION:
*     Bhubaneswar-based K1 Shuttler is a consortium of badminton lovers
*     As many as 71 teams from Railways, Nalco, MCL, AG Odisha, BSNL and private corporate have confirmed their participation in the prize-money tournament.
*     The tournament is recognised by Odisha State Badminton Association.
*     The three-day tournament would feature competition in two categories.
*     Players below 40 years would compete for senior title, while those above 40 years would vie for the veteran title.
*     Ranking points would be awarded only in the senior category.
*     Title winners in each category would be given Rs 15,000 each while the runners-up would receive Rs 10,000 each.
*     The two losing semifinalists would get Rs 5,000 each.
*     Travelling allowance, free lodging and boarding would be provided to players coming beyond 60 kms.
