  • OGA conducted the 49th Junior National Championship at JN Indoor Stadium, Cuttack, from Jan 28 to Feb 1, 2009.
  • OGA hosted the Senior National Championship at JN Indoor Stadium, Cuttack in 1987. Orissa`s Balaram Sil emerged individual all-round champion in this National meet.
  • Balram Sil emerged champion in the National Gemes at Kerala in 1998.
  • OGA hosted the National Sub-junior Championship at JN Indoor Stadium, Cuttack in 1991. Orissa`s Suvendu Patra emerged champion in this championship.
  • OGA conducted the 1st Federation Cup at Cuttack in 1992. Orissa`s Ajay Gupta finished all-round runner-up in this event.
  • Orissa bagged two gold, three silver and one bronze medals in the 48th Junior National Championship at Jalpaiguri, West Bengal in 2008. Orissa`s Rakesh Patra finished third in boys` individual all-round event in this meet.
  • Rakesh Patra finished all-round second in the Tulit Peter International Championship at Hungery in 2008. He emerged as the best gymnast of the championship, collecting 4 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals in individual event of the Hungery meet.
  • *     Odisha Gymnastic Association is affiliated to Gymnastics Federation of India and Orissa Olympics Assocaition.
    * As the official apex gymnastics body of Orissa, OGA runs the sport in the state mainly by conducting State and National level competetions, sending state teams for different National championships.
    *     All except two office-bearers of Orissa Gymnastics Association were re-elected for a four-year term in the general body meeting at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on March 17, 2013.
