  MEN`S HOCKEY WORLD LEAGUE FINALS-2017  
 
Government of Odisha and Hockey India are jointly hosting the Men`s Hockey World League Finals at Kalinga Stadium Hockey Complex in Bhubaneswar from December 1 to 10, 2017. This is the second major international hockey event in Bhubaneswar, the first being the 35th Men’s Championship Trophy, which was staged from Dec 6 to 14, 2014. Top eight nations, including defending champions Australia, Olympic gold medallist Argentina and host India are participating in the World League Finals, which would feature a total of 22 matches. Huge amount was spent, decorating Kalinga Stadium with hoardings, banners, welcome gates and lights for Hockey World League. Hoardings featured star players of different teams and hashtag of the competition.
