Fancied Orissa got off to a flying start by trouncing Chandigarh 17-0 in the 16th Senior National Women`s Football Championship at Haldia (West Bengal) on Saturday. According to reports reaching here, Thunki Munda was the top scorer with six goals. Pinky Bompal Magar, who is leading the star-studded Orissa team in the absence of injured Ranjita Mohanty, emerged as the second highest goal-getter with five strikes. Among others, Sasmita Mallick and Gitanjali Khuntia netted a brace each, while Jhili Munda and Rashmita Podh contributed one goal each. The winners led 5-0 at the breather.
