Orissa Police, Cuttack defeated Tata Motors, Jamshedpur 7-6 in the final, via sudden death to win the 9th. All-India Knock-out Football Tournament at the Sersa ground, Bondamunda, Rourkela today. Tata Motors led 1-0 at the half time after Ranjit Baske drew first blood in the third minute. But Orissa Police bounced back to snatch the lead, scoring twice in space of seven minutes through Yogendra Deep (63rd) and K Marandi (70th). Orissa Police received the trophy, which carried a cash prize of Rs 25,000. Tata Motoras were given Rs 20,000.
