Ranji Trophy champions Delhi and 37-time winners Mumbai have been pooled together with Orissa in the Elite Division group A at next season`s National championship. Gujarat and Railways, who qualified for the Plate group final in 2007-08, have been promoted to the Elite group while Bengal and Himachal Pradesh have been relegated to the `Plate` group after this season`s championship. Groupings: Elite: Group `A`: Delhi, Saurashtra, Mumbai, Orissa, Punjab, Hyderabad, Rajasthan and Gujarat. Group `B`: Uttar Pradesh, Baroda, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Railways. Plate: Group `A`: Kerala, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand. Group `B`: Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Bengal, Vidarbha, Services, Tripura.
