Two dressing rooms of East Coast Railway Cricket Stadium was inaugurated by the railway division`s General Manager Ajay Kumar Goyal at Mancheswar here today. Orissa Cricket Association secretary Ashirbad Behera and East Coast Railway Sports Association president D K Samantaray were present on the occasion.
Behera stated that the stadium was technically fit to organise Ranji Trophy matches from next year. According to Samantaray, the first phase work of the stadium, consisting boundary wall, cricket ground with turf pitch and dressing rooms, has been completed. He also informed that the second phase of work will feature three more pitches, one pavilion and a 2,000-capacity gallery.
