Bhubaneswar boy Shakti Ray ousted Ayush Podar (WB) 6-3, 2-6, 6-1 to reach the under-12 singles final of the AITA Talent Series Tennis Tournament at DKS Club in Kolkata today. Qualifier Shakti, a product of city-based Gurukul Professional Tennis Players Academy, will meet top seed Kamran Ali (WB) in the final on Friday. Shakti`s academy-mate Adwithiya Patnaik, however, bowed out of the boys` under-14 singles event after suffering a 6-0, 6-0 defeat at the hands of top seed Sukrit Guha (West Bengal) in the semifinals on Thursday.
