Delhi secured a double by winning both the men`s and women`s titles in the three-day Federation Cup Throwball Championship here at the National Institute of Technology campus in Rourkela today. In men`s final Delhi thrashed host Orissa 15-11, 13-15, 15-8, while Chattisgarh settled for the third spot, beating Tamil Nadu 15-3, 15-7. Toeing the line of their male counterparts Delhi eves outplayed Chhatisgarh 15-11, 3-15, 15-9 in the title clash, while Tamil Nadu secured the third place, defeating Orissa 15-9, 15-6. Inspector General of Police (Western Range) Prana Bindu Acharya the three-day championship NIT Director Prof SK Sarangi gave away the prizes at the closing funciton.
