Odisha boy D Aryan Swamy achieved the biggest success of his career by winning the under-14 singles title in the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament, which was organised by Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association at VIP Club in Raipur from April 3 to 7, 2017.

In the final, Bhubaneswar lad Aryan defeated Rahul Ravi from Maharashtra 3-6, 6-2, 6-4. This was the maiden AITA singles title and fourth overall for Aryan, who earlier captured three doubles titles. Student of Loyala School, Bhubaneswar, Aryan had secured his first AITA title two years ago.
