A joint meeting of Football Association of Odisha (FAO) Tournament & Transfer Committee and Development Committee was held at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack today. Following decisions were taken in the meeting, which was attended by secretary Sanjay Behera and other office-bearers of FAO.

MAJOR DECISIONS:

*     FAO First Division League (Diamond, Gold and Silver League) will take place from August 17 to September 28, 2018.
*     FAO Super Cup will be held from Sept 30 to Oct 5, 2018.
*     A 10-member committee will will monitor and operate the matches of the FAO League.
*     Member of the committee are: Bijay Das, Bhakta Ballav Das, Krushna Chandra Behera, Manas Samal, Narendra Kumar Sahoo, Gopabandhu Sahoo, Bishnu Rout, Naba Kishore Mishra, Pravakar Bardhan, Subhasis Kar.
*     FAO Women League, featuring eight teams, will be held from August 15 and matches will be played only on weekends (Saturday, Sunday).
*     Women League are: Rising Student Club, Radharaman Club, Bidanasi Club, Rovers Club, East Coast Railway, Govt Sports Hostel, SAI Training Centre, Odisha Police.
*     The inaugural FAO Youth League for U-18 boys players will be held in October, 2018.
*     Nipendra Kumar Das was named as the coach of State Sub-junior Football Team, while AN Pillai and Anindya Kumar Dev were named assistant coach and goal-keeping coach respectively.
*     Suraj Thappa was appointed as the coach of the State Junior Boys Team, while Prassana Das and Debi Prasad Das were named as assistant coach and goalkeeping coach respectively.
*     Naba Kishore Mishra was appointed as the manager of FAO Academy which would participate in the AIFF Youth League for the season 2018-19.
*     Mohammadd Shahid Jabbar was appointed Head of the FAO Academy.
